Welcome to Raising Achievement.

An organisation dedicated to supporting schools and parents to raise achievement for underachieving students.

2023 has been a year of growth and refocusing as we navigate the new landscape of education. The hybrid model of face-to-face training and online options is allowing us to adapt to the fluctuating health of the nation and any teacher shortages that affect teacher release.

In the area of neurodiversity and all at-risk student groups, we are set to escalate provision in 2024.  The coming year will be all about equipping schools and teachers with the resources, skills, strategies and programmes they need to ensure that those students who learn differently can truly reach their potential and that school-wide outcomes increase significantly.

PLD Highlights for 2024

  • Leadership development in policy and practice to establish the framework.

  • Teacher development “hour of power” weekly Zooms

  • Teacher aide development “hour of power” weekly  Zooms.

  •  Country Wide “Setting up for Success “roadshows.

  • Ministry-funded PLD initiatives for Teacher aides.

  • Increased work with parents to develop home-school partnerships.

I look forward to working with you and your school in 2024 so we can all

“Make the difference for those who learn differently.”
